Four weeks ago, Black Forest Academy began is 67th year of supporting families serving in some of the world's most challenging locations. This year the student body includes over fifty different nations, representing the ongoing work of hundreds of Christian field workers. We are absolutely honored to play a critical part of this important work by providing a quality education to the children of these families.
This short two minute video will give you a window into the culture and community at BFA through its annual opening ceremony. For those of you with a connection to Kenya, if you watch closely, near the beginning you will see an unexpected reference to our own cross-cultural journey here. God has been very good.
Please continue to pray for our family as we establish many new rhythms and routines. Please also feel free to reach out with any and all questions you might have about the work we are doing here. We would love to hear from you.
Coming Up: We are looking forward to sharing in our next post what a typical week looks like for the Dows as we serve here at Black Forest Academy.
